Gone are the days of the old friendly country garage, but not forgotten.

Valid Automotive Ltd opened up shop in November 2011 with the focus of providing that same good service you used to get. Where you knew your mechanic and staff that worked on your vehicle, trusted them to do the best job for you and your vehicle.

Coming out of franchise dealership backgrounds, we have seen where company politics have gone wrong and the customers left very unsatisfied. Come in and see us at Valid Automotive knowing we will do our best for you. We have a wide range of experience in all makes and models, including factory training on late model Audi, VW, Hyundai and Nissan.

We have access to all the diagnostic equipment and are MTA assured and WOF Certified.

All work is guaranteed!

Quik Lube is a new concept, based around vehicle servicing. It looks after the essentials required to keep your vehicle in shape without the ‘fluffy’ extras that just add to the costs. With small car petrol servicing starting at $99 it’s the best value around.

We don’t want to spend your money where it’s not needed!

Robbie started his apprenticeship in 1990, Qualified with distinction in record time.

He then went on to his own workshop in Vryheid, South Africa on April 1992.

There he gained a wide range of experience on all makes and models.
In 1997 he moved the whole shop over a 1,700km south to Cape Town to start his own family.

Robbie loves motor cars and racing (sometimes more than he should). He started his racing career 1986 on the dirt oval track, at age 16. Robbie ended up with multiple provincial championship titles before he finished up in 2004 to support his son on his road to National Motocross Champion. Two years later his son was also crowned National Go-Karting Champion, with Robbie at his side (also there to do the mechanic-ing). In 2008 Robbie moved his family to New Zealand. He quickly became a licensed WOF inspector and gained a lot of experience with late model Nissan and Hyundai vehicles. He went on to open Valid Automotive in November 2011.

These days Brook enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and a bit of DIY but he’s always up for a good old chin wag.
